THE BANK:

THE COMPLEX:
The Regional Development, Integration and Business Delivery Complex comprises five (5) Regional Development and Business Delivery Offices, one per region: North Africa, Southern Africa, East Africa, West Africa and Central Africa. The Regional Development and Business Delivery Offices are headed by Directors General. The Complex also includes a Special Office for Nigeria, a Department for Transition States and a Regional Integration Coordination Office.
One of the Complex's main mandates is to ensure implementation of the Strategic Framework for Regional Integration. The Strategic Framework for Regional Integration is the Bank's overarching strategy to support implementation of the Integrate Africa priority of the High 5s, Agenda 2063 and the African Continental Free Trade Area. It is designed to accelerate the free movement of goods, services, people and capital across Africa. The Strategic Framework for Regional Integration is underpinned by major investments in regional infrastructure, particularly energy, transport, water and information and communication technologies.
THE POSITION:
The job holder - Stocks Clerk
KEY FUNCTIONS:
Under the supervision of the Team Assistant, the Stocks Clerk will assume the following responsibilities:
- Assist with receiving, procurement and stock management.
- Verify stocks received against supplier invoices.
- Handle and manage supplies stock in an organized manner.
- Prepare reports on stock utilization.
- Enter stock reports and statements into a database.
- Process reservations for supply orders in SAP.
- Administrative assistance: filing documents, liaison with suppliers, prepare customs clearance documents, prepare duty exemption requests.
- Dispatch driver schedules, check logbooks for each vehicle, monitor fuel consumption.
- Receive parcels.
COMPETENCIES (skills, experience and knowledge):
- Hold a BTS/DTS/DUT;
- At least 3 years' relevant professional experience in stock management;
- Perfect knowledge of stock management methods;
- Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills;
- Be client-focused and results-oriented.
- Attention to detail;
- Rigour;
- Excellent communication skills in French and/or English, with a good knowledge of the other language;
- Proficiency in the software applications commonly used at the Bank (Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
